This week, I was fortunate enough to be a guest on Changed My Mind With Luke T. Harrington where I talk in depth about my newly released graphic novel Two Stories: Book One as well as give spoilers for the in progress sequel graphic novel Two Stories: Book Two. I was also fortunate to be a guest on the Beautiful Voyager podcast with Meredith Arthur, which should air in a few weeks. Meredith does an excellent job talking openly about mental illness and overthinking, and we discuss my experiences with depression, anxiety disorder, and suicidal ideation all which I adress in my book Two Stories: Book One on this episode. Two Stories: Book One has now officially been released! My confessional graphic memoir that grapples with questions of faith, mental illness, depravity, and, ultimately, redemption in a fallen world, that I’ve hand written/drawn/lettered and inked over the past number of years, is finally available on the market! I am excited to have gotten so much coverage so far for the book, and will keep you all informed as more press and interviews come in. Mental health is such a stigmatized issue, that I believe it’s extremely important and hopefully helpful for folks to discuss and read stories that openly talk about it. I dedicated a lot of time to creating this graphic novel, as a labor of love, and am pleased to know it’s being read, and has the potential to meet more readers.
